INSTAGRAM INCREASES LENGTH OF VIDEOS IN NEW MOVE TARGETED AT ATTRACTING YOUTHS
Instagram recently announced a move which seems to be a double-barrelled in both attracting youths to it services and also aimed at giving parent company Facebook more opportunities to display ads as obtains in YouTube videos.
This action which mirrors recent moves in which certain features in Snapchat was integrated into Facebook and Instagram as this seems to be a move at least inspired from rival YouTube playbook. The new features announced on Wednesday would see accounts with large followings would be able to post videos as long as an hour which would be available through Instagram or a newly announced app called IGTV.
This move comes amidst the mitigation tactics embarked on by Facebook after the recent "Cambridge Analytica" data leaks furore.
