Microsoft has trumped PS4 to the race of launching of HBO app with the release of the HBO Go app on its flagship XBOX ONE although the app for PS4 is being developed and would soon be released.
The new XBOX ONE app has a brand new feature that allows users pin a specific show to the home screen allowing easy picking up right from where a viewer last stopped.
Although viewers using the XBOX ONE no longer need to be XBOX live gold members,an active HBO subscription along with credentials is needed. The only fly in this particular ointment is that the service is exclusive to the United States(US) as at now,
This development of adding sa cable network service enhances Microsoft push to make the XBOX ONE a centralized media platform for all the needs of an entertainment room.
Welcome to my blog where I would be hoping to keep you up to date on the latest trends and happenings in the world of computers and information technology.

WINDOWS 10
Microsoft has recently released a new version of its operating system (OS) which surprisingly was not the Windows 9 everyone was expecting including me as they skipped to Windows 10.This latest version would run on devices such as smartphones, tablets,PC's(personal computers) and XBOX game consoles with applications for it sold from a single app store. The START menu which has been absent from the WINDOWS 8 interface also makes a return in apparent attempt by MICROSOFT to bring users more familiar with WINDOWS 7,VISTA and XP on board to upgrade to WINDOWS 10.

SAMSUNG SENDS BARBS AT APPLE ON BENDGATE ISSUE
It is a shame the iPhone 6 yields to pressure applied at the right spot with SAMSUNG and LG also playing up their own curved phones at Apple's expense and taking turns to jibs at the #bend gate issue.

HOW TO USE TOR BROWSER TO BROWSE WITHOUT LEAVING A TRAIL ON THE INTERNET INCLUDING A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO CONFIGURE YOUR PC TO USE TOR
What is Tor?
Tor is a computer network run by volunteers worldwide. Each volunteer runs what is called a relay, which is just a computer that runs software allowing users to connect to the Internet via the Tor network. Before hitting the open Internet, the Tor Browser will connect to several different relays, wiping its tracks each step of the way, making it difficult to figure out where, and who, you really are.
While Tor is gaining a reputation as a tool for buying illicit goods online, the software has numerous legitimate uses. Activists masking their location from oppressive regimes and journalists communicating with anonymous sources are two simple examples.

FEATURES WE THINK WINDOWS 9 SHOULD INTEGRATE FROM LINUX OS
A package manager (a.k.a. desktop app store)
One of the big new features in Windows 8 was the Windows Store. Well, Linux was doing “app stores” since before they were cool, and they were called package managers. A package manager is a centralized place for installing all your software so you don’t have to crawl the web.Tuesday, September 16, 2014
LATEST RUMOURS ON WINDOWS 9
Only this time, Microsoft is looking to mollify its user base—especially in the enterprise—instead of scaring people away. If months of leaks and rumors are accurate, Microsoft will undo some of the most drastic changes in Windows 8, but it will also kick off a major transformation for Windows--one that's long overdue.
Microsoft is likely to reveal at least some of these changes at a September 30 event. Here's a look at all the details that have leaked out so far, and how we expect it all to come together:
